WOW! I can't believe the classroom budget you were given. What can $55 buy for a classroom of students?? When you said you had to make copies of classroom textbooks, was this because the regular education teacher only ordered enough for his/her regular education students, or are you differentiating your education based on abilities (such as a 5th grader being taught the 4th grade math curriculum)? Your VoiceThread was awesome!
ReplyDeleteI can completely relate to your situation. I have to buy pretty much everything for my classroom. Pencils, paper, glue, crayons ect. My husband asked me this year why doesnt the school cover my cost and I just looked at him and laughed! I am not sure the government really realizes that for the amount that we get paid we pay out a lot just to keep our classrooms running!
